Ermès Bagunda - CPT Technician

Ermès took a liking to the "maker culture” from an early age  when he spent time with his father who is a professional carpenter in the Congo. He decided he would prefer to do something mechanical and set his eyes on working and studying in SA to achieve his goals.

He is now pursuing his BTech in Industrial Engineering with UNISA where he is currently doing his 3rd year.

Ermès brings immense value to the workshop. In a short period of time he has learnt how to build complete electric bikes and convert bicycles to electric.

He takes every opportunity to learn more and acquire new skills and is an invaluable part of the chilled squirrel team.
