The resale value of bikes is not good. However these good components that you have are great for an ebike.
Your current bike frame size suits your height and general riding preferences.

Frame considerations

The ideal fitting position for the battery is on the Down tube As Illustrated here on your right.
If the space is too small,other options are available as illustrated below.

STEP-THRU BIKES ALSO HAVE BATTERIES INSTALLED ON THE REAR.

FOLDING BIKES ARE BEST FITTED WITH REAR CARRIER BATTERIES.

TANDEMS & OTHER HARD TAIL BIKES NORMALLY HAVE ENOUGH SPACE ON THE DOWN-TUBE.

CONTROLLERS ARE SEPARATE TO THE MOTOR AND ARE INSTALLED ON SEAT TUBES OR ON DOWN-TUBES.

Our Technical team will check these Mechanical parts to ensure they work optimally and seamlessly with your 500w Geared hub drive motor integration prior to starting.

Brakes.

Jockey ( Rear derailleur ).
Chain , front chain wheel and derailleur and rear Cluster / Cassette.
Front wheel hub ( Rear wheel hub will be replaced with the hub motor).
Air shocks.
Rims, Spokes & tyres.

Please note that a full Mechanical service and Intensive clean up of your bike is included in the conversion.

PEDAL ASSIST

For some people retaining a steady heart rate level is detrimentally important to their health during exercise.

Or your goal may be to get fitter one ride at a time by Pacing your rides according to your own level of fitness.

The 500w Hub drive conversion is fitted with a 9 levels of Electric pedal assist (PAS) .

PAS helps you maintain a steady level of power no matter how steep the gradient becomes.

PAS is controlled via a plus + ( for more power assistance ) minus - ( for less power assistance) .

This button is controlled on your handlebar. Simply increase and decrease the level of power you need while riding.

Increasing PAS not only helps you up steep hills , it also alleviates pressure on your knees , hips or shoulders which prevents injury and allows you to ride and exercise longer than you would normally be able to.

THROTTLE

In addition to PAS (9 levels of pedal /power assist) we also install a safety thumb throttle. When the throttle is engaged it over-rides the PAS. This is particularly helpful when wanting immediate forward momentum.

For example : From a stationary position on a steep hill or stop street or in an emergency situation where for whatever reason you need instant power without the need for turning pedals.

PAS works when you turn the pedals and it takes almost one revolution before pedal assist power is engaged. Having an emergency throttle is super helpful and gives you peace of mind even though you wont need to use it most of the time.
